Line-to-line quantities can’t see zero sequence

Drive all three sequence components and watch the voltage triangle:

|V1|1.00
∠V10°
|V0|0.00
∠V0270°
|V2|0.00
∠V20°
V1 sets the size (and reference angle) of the triangle, V0 slides it without changing its shape — delta-connected equipment never notices — and V2 distorts it. That distortion is the imbalance everything feels.
