DXF Drawing Search System

Search through 3,879 drawings with 1.5 million text entries

Step 1: Load Index File Click "Choose drawing_index.json" and select the file from:
c:\selkirk4\autocad print - DXF\drawing_index.json

Step 2: Search Type any term (transformer, xfmr, ct, bus, breaker, etc.) and results appear instantly

Step 3: View Results Click on any result to expand and see all matching text entries highlighted

Step 4: Export (Optional) Click "Export Results" to save your findings as a CSV file

🔍 DXF Drawing Search

⚠️ IMPORTANT: HTTP Server Required

This page MUST be opened from the HTTP address shown in the open_drawing_server.py screen
(typically http://127.0.0.1:8765)

Do NOT open search_drawings_local.html directly from the file system!
Direct file opening will prevent the drawing file links from opening in Autodesk DWG TrueView.

🔍 Search Instructions

✓ Individual Words (OR)

Select "Match ANY word" below, then type:

transformer relay motor Finds entries with ANY of these words (in any order)

✓ Individual Words (AND)

Select "Match ALL words" below, then type:

transformer 480V panel Finds entries with ALL words present (order doesn't matter)

📝 Exact Phrase (use quotes)

Put quotes around the phrase:

"motor control center" Finds this EXACT phrase in this EXACT order

🎯 Mixed Search

Combine words and phrases:

480V "control panel" breaker Individual words (any order) + exact phrase

Case sensitive Whole word only Use regex Match ALL words (AND) Match ANY word (OR)
